For a fourth year, Spartanburg Day School's ACT test results show an increase.
The Class of 2017's average score on the popular standardized test was 28.5 (out of 36). South Carolina's average was 18.7.
The most recent data is a slight increase over last year's 28.3 average. Students tested the highest in English (29.7), followed by reading (28.6), math (28.1) and science (27). Results in all four subject areas were above state averages.
