Technology at Spartanburg Day School
Our goal is to advance the appropriate use of technology both throughout the school as well as within our students’ lives. Subject specific software and selected web sites are utilized to reinforce concepts in our current curriculum. Technology fundamentals, such as keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and multimedia, are integrated into core classes. Our students learn and utilize research skills, as well as safe use of the Internet.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality education by exposing students early to different forms of technology, including hardware, software, as well has utilizing these tools in various teaching styles. We strive to prepare our students to enter the colleges and universities of their choice, armed with the skills to use current technology to its fullest and to be able to adapt to new products rapidly entering the market place.
