Special Studies Week

Each March, business as usual pauses for Upper School students to take part in Special Studies Week, a highlight of the Upper School experience since 1996.

These experiential learning opportunities are both community building and flat-out fun. Courses range from nearby hiking and kayaking outings to international travel to locales in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America.

Some of the most recent Special Studies offerings include:

  • Community Service
  • Independent College Tour
  • Jewelry Making
  • Land, Air and Sea
  • Life Skills
  • Nicaragua
  • Art Tour of New York City
  • Take a Hike!
  • Writers’ Retreat
