International Program
Spartanburg Day School's unparalleled educational experience is noticeably enhanced by a student population that reflects international diversity. International students attend classes alongside American students and are immersed into a community that celebrates an enriching cross-cultural experience.
Our school benefits from enrolling international students seeking an SDS experience for a variety of reasons. Students in grades 8-12 will benefit from the following:

Daily ESOL services - Students receive English instruction and academic support for their classes.

Weekly support and check-ins by our Director of International Student Services - Students can easily get help with any issues or concerns that arise during their time here, whether related to school or not.

Weekend excursions - Students have the opportunity to explore the region and attend events together.

International student programming - Throughout the academic year, specific events are designed to create both social opportunities for our international students as well as opportunities for these students to showcase their culture.
My time at Spartanburg Day School embodies everything I hoped for in an American high school experience. Even though I only attended SDS for my Junior and Senior year, the classes I took, the connections I built, and the sports I participated in all make the two years unforgettable.
