At the Spartanburg Day School we encourage students and parents to support our athletics teams. Indeed, our athletic program would not be successful without parental support. Game days are fun and exciting. Representing Spartanburg Day School is something students strive for, and something they have a right to enjoy. Every coach does his or her best to prepare teams for games and to instill in the players the core values of participation, character, and skill development.

Support the program, and not just your child.

Advise and encourage – don’t criticize.

Respect the opposition and their parents.

Praise effort and character, and not just skill.
