Music
There is nothing as special as hearing the students sing.. Our 4K – 2nd graders enjoy singing and using the xylophones and glockenspiels as they learn the elements of music. Children like to perform and be on stage, so it is a treat to see our 4K’s performing The Mother Goose Play or the 5K’s starring in The Gingerbread Christmas!
I like music. You make a lot of good sounds.

Our 3rd and 4th grades sing in the Spartanburg Day School Children’s Chorus and that is a sound to behold! They learn the basics of singing: breathing, blending voices, posture, matching pitch and part-singing. Our chorus students are often invited to perform throughout the community; they have performed for Queen Noor of Jordan, for Lunch Sandwiched in at the County Library, and at the Spartanburg Regional Hospital Gibbs Cancer Center, to the delight of their audiences.
