Master of Ceremonies, Eric Foust ’81, recognized the Blackford, Cates, Hamilton, Sanchez, Singleton, and Wakefield families for their gifts to the Capital campaign and gave details of the parts of the facility named in their honor.

The baseball field, now called Brennan Field, was dedicated in memory of Joseph A. Brennan, father of Stacy McBride and grandfather of John, ’12, Harry, ’14, Sally, ’16, and Kate, ‘17 McBride.

Foust then announced of the name of the facility, the Webster Athletic Complex. Billy Webster, a Board of Trustees member, then spoke about the importance of athletics in education and life.
