SDS Envirothon team secures third place.

Posted May 18, 2010

Five Spartanburg Day School students were among over 200 students who competed in the South Carolina Envirothon competition held in Columbia, SC, earlier in May. The event acts as a regional event for a national competition.

This was the first time - in the events 14 year history - that SDS was represented. Under the supervision of Enviromental Science teacher Bonnie Webester, the students secured third place. Each won $125 scholarship. A wonderful achievement.

The SDS team was:

Criosanna Alfred (9th), Matthew Roberts (12th), Jen Omlor (12th), Julia Rogers (12th) and Zheng Fang (10th.)
