Parents

If you have a child attending SDS, you are automatically a member of The Parent’s Club. For nearly fifty years it has focused on providing volunteer support for every aspect of school life. The Club enthusiastically supports academics, recruitment and retention, athletics, and communications. Additionally, the Club focuses on fundraising to supplement the schools budget and provide for unexpected expenses.

The Club’s dedicated members play a vital role in making Spartanburg Day School a warm and welcoming community. Collectively, these parents host many of the traditional events at the school such as the Gala Auction: bake sales, teacher appreciation lunches, class events, Homecoming, book fairs, award nights and many more.

In all, the Parents’ Club organizes and hosts nearly 30 events and assists with open houses, to welcome prospective families. Each year they raise thousands of dollars through their collective efforts, all for the purpose of supporting our students.

The Club is an effective, welcoming and fun organization. Every parent is encouraged participate. Simply contact one of the members, or attend monthly meetings to get involved.
