Biography

Professional Experience
I began my career as an Admissions Counselor at Clemson University and then moved to Florida to be the Assistant Director of Admissions at Eckerd College. I then decided to "switch to the other side of the desk" and became a college counselor at Lake Highland Preparatory School and then the Assistant Director of College Counseling at Saint Mary's Hall in Texas before moving back to South Carolina. Member of NACAC and SACAC. Former chair of the Sweet Tea Tour and of the Central Florida College Fair.

Why I do what I do...
Forming strong relationships with students and families and helping them to navigate this process is my passion! I have always loved working with kids and combining that with my love of education is a perfect match. I love the entire journey of the college search (the good and the bad) and the lessons that are learned along the way and being right there with students for all of it.

I enthusiastically joined the Spartanburg Day School community in 2022. I enjoy traveling and family time with our young son. I love college sports (particularly football) and my husband and I want to travel to all the football stadiums in the Power 5. I am a huge animal lover and that is why we have six pets.
