Why I do what I do...
I love the opportunity I have to indoctrinate students in the wonders of literature. One of my primary goals is to get students enthusiastic about the written word. Another huge role of mine is to get students ready to be ready to be discerning information consumers and producers aka research.
I came very close to seeking a career as a primatologist.
I love to travel and explore the world. Before my junior year of college, I drove across the U.S. with a good friend of mine. It really kickstarted my love of traveling and finding out about the world. Since then, I have spent time all over the U.S. as well as Canada, Central America, and pretty much all of western continental Europe.
