Extended Day

The warm, nurturing environment that Spartanburg Day School students receive in the classroom every day continues into the Extended Day program.
Our dedicated after-school staff carefully plans a variety of fun and interesting activities - from crafts to story time to developmental games and art projects.

Extended Day also includes plenty of time for just being a child on the playground or during creative free play, as well as structured time for homework.

Extended Day begins at 12:15 p.m. for our preschool students and is available until 6 p.m. for students in 2K-8th grades.

New in 2020-21

Please note that due to COVID-19, drop-ins cannot be accommodated. To register for the semester or the year, please contact Beth Ryan.

Also, to limit the number of transitions and the number of people students interact with each day, extracurricular activities, including Krafty Kids, dance, soccer, Little Scholars, tennis and piano, have been suspended until further notice. We will continue to evaluate these activities as we begin school, and as soon as it is possible to offer these extracurriculars per SCDHEC guidelines, we will resume these valued opportunities for our students.
