News from the Lower School

Week of April 22

Happy Fri-Yay LS Families,

Last week, I had the pleasure of sharing with you our excitement over the incredible growth and progress we've been witnessing in our students, and I'm thrilled to report that this momentum has only continued to build throughout this week.

This week, our third and fourth-grade students truly showcased their brilliance as they confidently tackled their ERB exams. Their hard work and dedication were evident, and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts. In addition, our 4s students stole the spotlight this morning with their delightful recitations of our favorite nursery rhymes during the enchanting Mother Goose performance. Their confidence and enthusiasm were truly infectious. Earlier this week, we had a group of our fourth-grade students actively improving our campus greening efforts by planting trees to reduce our carbon footprint and raise awareness about environmental conservation. Their commitment to making a positive impact on our planet is truly commendable.

Seeing our students express their knowledge and passion for learning in such diverse ways reaffirms our commitment to the mission of Spartanburg Day School and we remain dedicated to providing an enriching and nurturing environment where each child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Thank you for choosing Spartanburg Day School for your child's education. We are honored to partner with you on this journey of growth and discovery!

In Partnership,

Jonathan
