This summer, under the direction of Coach Brad Cooper, we are pleased to offer a comprehensive summer conditioning and weight training program for our Middle and Upper School athletes. The program will run Monday through Thursday, from June 2 to July 31, and is designed to provide structured, safe, and productive training opportunities for all student-athletes.

Training Schedule:

• 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Boys, Grades 8–12
• 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Football (All Grades, Middle and Upper School)
• 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Boys, Grades 5–7
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Girls, Grades 5–12

All sessions will be staffed and supported by Jon Green, Spartanburg Day School’s Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Health, to ensure a safe and well-monitored environment.

Please note that session groupings have been adjusted from last year. Based on attendance trends and a continued focus on safety, Coach Cooper has reorganized the schedule to maximize the use of the weight room and coaching staff.

Coach Moffitt will also be directly involved in the 9:00 AM Football sessions, working alongside Coach Cooper.

If your child is participating in Camp Griffin during any given week and would still like to come to their strength and conditioning time, they will be allowed to do that. There will be camp counselors who will walk them to the weight room for the start of their session, and be there to pick them up and walk them back to Camp Griffin at the end of their session.

We are excited to welcome two students from Brazil in the fall! We need a gluten-free family for a boy from Brazil for one semester. We also need a Christian family for a girl from Brazil for one semester. Host families will receive a generous stipend of $1,200 per month for welcoming a student into their family.

Magnus Health is Spartanburg Day School's online platform for medical information and required forms.

In Magnus, you will be asked to complete important information related to your child's medical needs and required school forms. There is some documentation that will need to be uploaded. 

You can easily access Magnus Health through the FACTS Family Portal. Once in FACTS, in the left sidebar, expand the "Student" panel, and click on the "Medical" link. This takes you directly to your family's Magnus account.
