Dear Spartanburg Day School Learning Community,
It has been great to welcome everyone back to campus this week following the Easter weekend, and it has certainly been a full and rewarding few days with several moments worth celebrating.
A reminder that the final performance of Seussical Jr. is this evening at 7:00 in the Griffin Theatre. If you could not attend on Wednesday or Thursday, I hope you will come out and support our students tonight. It is a fun show and a great opportunity to see their hard work on display.
Prior to the Easter weekend, our fourth graders shared their A–Z Projects, offering a strong example of learning in action here at Spartanburg Day School. Each student explored a topic of interest through research and presentation, and it was great to see the thought, creativity, and confidence they brought to their work.
We are also excited to share the launch of the Stone Family Thought Leadership Series, a new multi-year speaker initiative that will bring nationally recognized voices and new ideas to our campus beginning in the spring of 2027. The series will feature one speaker each semester, creating meaningful opportunities for our students and families to engage with leaders across a range of fields. We are grateful to the Stone family for making this series possible.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of Spartanburg Day School.
Sincerely,
Dave Skeen
Head of School
