Thank you to everyone who came to Parent’s Night on Wednesday. We enjoy seeing you in the halls and getting a chance to give you a glimpse into your student's days here with us. 

It is a pleasure for teachers and students to take their learning out into the community. On Wednesday, Mrs. Webster took her AP Environmental Science class to Lawson Fork Creek to look for microinvertebrates, which is the focus of their class right now. 

Our visitors from Germany arrived this week, and they seem to enjoy spending time getting to know our students and exploring the area. In addition to going to classes, they have visited Biltmore, taken a tour of Wofford, and watched our Varsity Volleyball team play their first couple of games. Speaking of the volleyball team, our students are off to an exceptional start with school spirit this year. The Spirit Club is leading with great energy, which is entertaining to see.

Ninth graders who want to be a part of Student Government are submitting Declaration Forms this week and will be presenting speeches to their class in the coming weeks.

College representatives have begun their visits to our campus over the next month or so. Please refer to the College Counseling Corner for specifics, and your student can see the specifics on the Student Life calendar. 

Finally, this evening at 6:00, there will be a gathering at FR8Yard for students to socialize with the German students. We hope to see the students there.
