Athletics

Learning how to work as a team and developing good fitness habits are essential life skills. That’s why athletics are an important part of the Spartanburg Day School program.

Beginning in middle school, students have the opportunity to participate in Griffin athletics. Students can choose from 11 sports: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, equestrian, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. In addition to playing sports with their friends, students love the feeling of pride that comes from competing as a Griffin.
