At Camp Griffin, the health and safety of our campers is our top priority. Our campus is equipped with a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide immediate care and support for any medical needs that may arise. We follow strict safety procedures, ensuring a secure and well- organized environment for all activities. Additionally, our on-campus Head of Security oversees the safety of campers, staff, and families, providing peace of mind throughout the summer.

Griffin Clinic
At Camp Griffin, the health and safety of our campers is our highest priority. We’re proud to have our very own Griffin Clinic, staffed full-time throughout the summer by Nurse Practitioner Jon Green. With a dedicated healthcare professional on-site, campers receive prompt and expert care if needed. Additionally, counselors are trained in CPR and bloodborne pathogen protocols, ensuring they are equipped to handle emergencies with confidence and care. Our systems are designed to provide rapid and effective first aid while maintaining the utmost attention to camper well-being. We want families to trust that your child is in safe, capable hands!
Head of Security
At Camp Griffin, the safety and security of our campers are paramount. We are proud to have John Burgess, our full-time Head of Security, overseeing all safety protocols throughout the summer. With extensive experience in law enforcement and campus security, John brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our camp environment. His commitment to maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere ensures that campers can focus on fun and learning, while parents have peace of mind knowing their children are in capable hands.

These measures, combined with our well-trained staff and established safety protocols, create a secure, supportive, and fun experience for all campers. During registration, parents can easily list all approved pick-up persons, providing peace of mind that their child will only be released to authorized individuals. The system streamlines daily drop-off and pick-up, making it quick and hassle-free for families while maintaining the highest level of security.
