Mr. Gosnell joined the Board of Trustees in 2021, having previously served on the board from 2015-2020.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Gosnell began his career with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) and subsequently founded Gosnell Menard Robinson Infante CPAs in 1986. At his firm, Mr. Gosnell specializes in business and tax advisory services, with a focus on mergers & acquisitions. 

He is past president of the Spartanburg Rotary Club and previously served on the board of directors for Mobile Meals of Spartanburg. He is also past president and board member for the University of South Carolina Upstate Foundation. He has been involved in several business and community organizations, including the Spartanburg Estate Planning Council.

Mr. Gosnell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Tax Division of the AICPA.

Mr. Gosnell and his wife Elaine are the parents of five children, including two current SDS students, Henry and Teagan, and Anderson, a Spartanburg Day School 2023 graduate.
