Anna Blanton
Anna Blanton joined the Board of Trustees in 2022.
Mrs. Blanton is currently the HR Director for Milliken & Company, where she has worked for the last eight years.
A graduate of Wofford College, she received a BA in Intercultural Studies for Business in Spanish and did a year of international study in Spain.
In addition to the Day School, Mrs. Blanton serves on the board of the Charles Lea Center Foundation and is currently serving her second term on the board of directors for Girl Scouts Mountains to Midlands where she served on the CEO search committee and HR Task Force.
She is also a member of the session of First Presbyterian Church, Spartanburg, a member of Women’s Giving for Spartanburg where she served on the board and as Grants Committee chairperson, a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg and a member of the Board of Advisory for Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce.

She is married to Steven Blanton and their two boys, Wells and Thompson are current SDS students.
Established in 1957, Spartanburg Day School is a nationally accredited independent school for students from 2K to 12th grade.
